Los Salaf nunca hicieron el Mawlid. - Shaykhul -Islam Ibn Taymiyah رحمه الله.

Shaykhul -Islam Ibn Taymiyah رحمه الله:

“… Este (Mawlid) no fue hecho por los Salaf, a pesar de que podían hacerlo y nada los restringía. Con lo cual, si el Mawlid fuera algo bueno, entonces los SALAF lo hubieran hecho, porque su amor hacia el Profeta -la paz y bendiciones de Allah sean con él- SOBREPASA el nuestro.”

This [ Mawlid ] wasn't done by the Salaf, even tho they could do it and nothing was restricting them, so if it [ Mawlid ] was something good, then the Salaf would've done it, because their love towards the prophet peace and blessings be upon him surpasses ours.
